These high quality buckles have a slim profile but are much stronger than the generic half inch (10 mm) buckles you may find elsewhere. They can handle being tensioned down tight so they are great for gear customization. We use them on our backpack’s top strap and sternum strap. The male side adjusts. and the female side does not.
These buckles have a wide mouth and narrow prongs so they are easier to snap together.
